Local fire departments are accepting donations for firefighters and victims in Gatlinburg, TN.

In the past week, 7 people have died and over 14,000 people have been evacuated from the tourist town due to wildfires around Gatlinburg.

"We are all working together on this" said New Carlisle Fire Chief Steven Trusty, adding that "any and all help will be greatly appreciated."

Trusty said cases of water and/or Gatorade can be dropped off at your local fire station by Friday night. All donated items will be sent to Gatlinburg Saturday morning.
